Our Mission: UA Power in Pink® celebrates the many women who use fitness and exercise to stay healthy, and serves as a platform to help raise awareness about breast health.
As a respected International yoga trainer and lifestyle author, Kathryn Budig is passionate about sharing her appetite for health and wellness. She is dedicated to the whole woman and giving back to her community. Kathryn is a driving force behind spreading a greater awareness about breast health. Her vision is to empower all women to be present, to know their bodies, and to educate themselves about breast health.
”I’m so proud to be an Under Armour Woman of Will, spreading the message of empowerment and that we are stronger than our circumstance. We are not this body, we are the soul and that can never be taken from us.”
The mission of Power in Pink® is to not only celebrate women who use fitness and exercise to stay healthy, but to raise awareness for breast health as well. As part of this vision, Under Armour® is donating 10 million to the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center to benefit breast health, innovation, and education.
Under Armour® is powering up with Bright Pink®, an organization on a mission to save women’s lives from breast and ovarian cancer by empowering them to live proactively at a young age. They strive to educate and equip the 52 million young women in the US between the ages of 18 and 45. These women have the power to be proactive; to reduce their risk for breast and ovarian cancer, or detect these diseases at early, non life-threatening stages.
