Softball Cleats & Spikes

If your league allows them, a pair of softball cleats with metal spikes offer traction and stability when playing on natural grass, muddy fields, or dirt surfaces. Our UA Glyde and UA Glyde 2 cleats were made with a new type of spike shape that gives you more traction and take pressure off your feet. We aligned the metal spikes in a way that gives you more contact with the ground and added Charged Cushioning® in the midsole so you’re stabile through your swing and fast when you round the bases.

If you’re not sure what your league allows, sticking with rubber molded cleats isn’t a bad alternative. They’re better for hard-grounded fields, and you can get the same supportive Charged Cushioning® midsole in our UA Glyde 2 MT TPU softball cleats. We’d recommend staying away from a rubber-molded cleat on turf due to the possibility of damaging the field.
