it's an incredibly unique hat. Almost feels like neoprene at first touch but much thinner. I bought it for vacation to throw in my luggage and just an overall knock around hat. I like that it comes in XL/XXL for us big headed folks. If you can catch it on sale I'd say it's worth it.

I wear a Souza size 7 1/4 fitted and I got the m/l and it fits perfectly, not snug, not loose and I left the strap as it came out of the package. I can't tell I'm wearing it, it's that comfortable.
