Every bit as comfortable as I'd hoped. I described the weight to a friend as "lighter than a Burger King crown." Texture is soft and smooth and you could absolutely fold this into your back pocket or wad this up in a backpack and have it pop right back into shape. I appreciate that you can adjust the size/fit even though you pick a size. That allows for minor tweaks if- for example- you wanted it a bit looser on a hot day. Just perfect.
