These are the best and most versatile UA running leggings that I own. I wear 32w 30l pants and the medium fits me perfectly. I use these when it gets below 40 deg F and they are comfortable all the way down to the mid 20s. They are not wind proof but I have yet to need a winter legging that is totally wind proof. They are not waterproof but they still kept me warm when they got wet from knee-deep powder. 99% of the time I wear my shorts over these. If it is sub-20s, then I just wear the 3.0 version under my shorts. They have a working fly which is a great feature that so many other leggings do not have. They are also thin enough that I can wear under work slacks. The skin-facing side is a unique waffle-like brushed surface that works amazingly well to regulate your body temperature. This is my third pair of these and they are a bargain if you can get them during one of the semi-annual sales.
Awesome fit and comfort . Soo comfortable.
These under armor thermals are a family favorite.
We would recommend checking out a size XL!
UA Base 2.0 is built for cold weather and high activity levels. We would recommend the 4.0 or 3.0 base layers for low activity levels. This information is also available in the DNA descriptions of each.
We'd recommend UA Base 3.0! UA Base layers change/increase in their ability to trap heat based on activity level in cold weather. For snowboarding you'll still be generating a good amount of heat so we'd suggest going with the 3.0.
