Bought the pants because my son picked them out for school

I wanted pants other than jeans for my nine year old. These were perfect in style, comfort, and appearance. But it seems there measurements must be wrong online. I measured the inseam of my kid’s other clothes. I looked at the inseam specified on this product online. They should have fit. They were too short. Like, an entire inch too short. I’m Very disappointed because the size bigger is toooooo big in the waist, but fits in length. Seems like this company doesn’t understand thin, long legged boys exist. My kid isn’t even that tall for his age, yet. I was annoyed I had to return them after ordering them online, but I did it while Purchasing summer clothes so the trip worked out.

I looked at the pictures and it shows solid grey for color and read more information. It didn’t say anything about a blue stripe. So I am not sure if the blue just makes the grey look like more of a blue or not but now I have a sweater I bought at the same time that doesn’t match the pants.
