As expected wonderful. It’s my third one
Great material fits really well Definitely going to be useful when worn during colder weather and feel like going for a run at the time
Really warm underlayer. Used to ski on freezing temp and this plus good ski jacket was enough… even when it was snowing… The only thing is that it feels way different then the 2.0 shirt. I also have one of that and the 3.0 is more stiff and feels smaller. Specially in the neck and chest.
For reference the Women's UA Base 3.0 Crew is a fitted shirt, so it features a streamlined fit that’s not too tight or too loose. The athlete pictured is 5'11" and wearing a size SM. The hem of the top would hit slightly above the hip in your true size, as pictured. The sleeves will be a little longer since they feature thumb holes.
Definitely size up! Their size guidelines assumes a "very" next-to-skin fit for this style (the only thing closer is their compression style). Overall I consider their sizing to be 1/4 less than what's advertised. Meaning, if you buy a Large it's similar to a Medium+3/4, the XL is similar to a Large+3/4, etc. I know I can buy the size up and be confident it will fit and perform exactly as expected!
The Women's ColdGear® Base 3.0 Crew is fitted, so it is not too tight or too loose. It is intended to be a baselayer, but may stand alone under a jacket depending on your personal preferences and level of comfort.
