Our daughter refuses to wear anything but these shirts under her hockey equipment. The grips help hold her equipment in place and it's nice and tight so it doesn't feel bulky under the equipment either. Should be under both girls and boys long sleeves.

Nice shirt, fit is a little off

Shirt has the same quality as the other fitted compression shirts and tanks, however, this item for some reason is looser around the waist which in turn tugs with movement. Not sure what that's about, great for normal activities but would be hesitant to recommend this for hockey which seems to be the purpose of this shirt.
