I purchased 2 of these shirts to replace my old and very worn out workout shirts. I have to say that these are better than my old cotton shirts in every way. First of all the fit is as expected. I purchased mediums and the fit well- enough room for movement but not baggy. Second, the fabric is much better at keeping sweat at bay. My old shirts would feel like a weighted rag on my body at the end of a workout while these do not. The sweat is wicked away keeping my skin relatively dry. Third, the shirts look great! So much so that I wish I'd purchased a few more for everyday use!
