It's very soft inside. There's a nice fleece layer. It's comfortable and well fitting.

I usually get the mock neck but wanted to get crew neck for work. Slim fitting and thin so it isn’t bulky under clothes but keeps me warm. (I wear cold gear leggings under my uniform pants too). Working EMS, these are a great addition to my winter uniform and tubing!

The items listed above will have a generally similar feel and level of warmth. However, to rank them in order with the warmest first, we would say the warmest would be the Tactical ColdGear® Infrared Base Crew, then the Base 2.0 Crew, and finally the ColdGear® Authentics Crew.
The Women's ColdGear® Authentics Crew does not have thumb holes.
